Chris Lebonville; Director, Home Hospice Hamilton-Halton Region

Originally from Edmonton, Chris settled in Hamilton back in 1986. He has just over 32 years in various aspects of sales, having been an office and call centre manager for just over 12 of those years, and having several self-owned businesses. Chris has successfully created his own local brand, Deacon Media, and has established a name for himself in the art and music local scene. Chris has raised funds on behalf of dozens of charities including The Parkinson's Foundation, March of Dimes, Living Rock, and The Eva Rothwell Centre. Now disabled, Chris spends his time between working part-time, continuing his work and support of the local art and music scene, and volunteering for HHA. His hobbies include board games, art, and music.

Chris was first approached about HHA back in early 2018, but due to an accident has only recently been able to be a part of the board of directors. He looks forward to continuing his efforts for a cause, raising funds and bringing his own unique outlook to the team. He has an unshakable commitment to a basic belief that yes, while we all may have the right to, but everyone should have the ability to live on their own terms but also die on their own terms. Chris helped his mother care for his eldest brother during his last few years, and then in turn, care for his mother during her last few years.
