Elizabeth Krajewski; Director of the Board, Home Hospice Niagara Region
The most important things in Elizabeth’s life are family and her community. She is passionate about living life to the fullest and spends as much time as possible seeking experiences to enrich her life and those around her by volunteering, traveling and building relationships. Some of her favourite things to do include photography, hiking and curling up with a good book.
Elizabeth has worked in the home healthcare sector for almost a decade. She has witnessed first hand the gaps in our healthcare system throughout her career and was personally impacted during the death of both of her parents.
Elizabeth is driven to work towards a system that provides everyone the choice to stay at home and die in the comfort of their own home with peace, dignity, compassion and comfort. It is this choice that fueled her desire to be part of HHA after being introduced to the great work they were doing by her friend, Merri-Lee Agar. Elizabeth wants to ensure that at the end of our lives we still have choices on how we spend our final days and how our loved ones are supported during the journey.
