Are You a Death Doula Who Aspires to Support Those Seeking a Medically Assisted Death?

This workshop was created to build on the knowledge and skills learned in your Death Doula training. By providing insight into the challenges of working with a client who chooses MAiD over a natural death,  you will learn how to deliver the special support around legacy, death planning, vigiling and grief that Death Doulas are uniquely qualified to provide.  Specific care before, during and after the provision will be taught.

Home Hospice Association is proud of their work with those who are often challenged in finding non-judgmental and knowledgeable support. The team responsible for the creation of The Diana Pathway Workshop brings their personal and professional knowledge and experiences with medically assisted deaths. Collectively and lovingly, they melded together in a common calling and common passion to launch this training program.

HHA The Diana Pathway MAiD

Diana was passionate about individuals being empowered to make decisions that reflected their personal values and preferences for individual healthcare when faced with a terminal illness.
