Kim Hutten

  • Team Leader for the Guelph and Waterloo Regions- The Bello Project

“…The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.”    Helen Keller

Kim lives in Galt- Cambridge, ON and loves her city. Kim is an avid outdoor nature lover and spends any of her spare time walking her dogs through the woods, kayaking, canoeing and visiting her favorite Ontario Parks with friends.

Kim has worked at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, ON since 2012 as a Registered Veterinary Technician in the ICU department. The team strives to improve the lives of pets and their people who come into the veterinary hospital needing emergency healthcare. She also works part time at Lexington Rd Animal Hospital in Waterloo as a Registered Veterinary Technician

In June 2016 Kim was awarded the Registered Veterinary Technician Career Spotlight of the month by the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians.

After a close friend, who was a fellow animal lover and advocate passed away from her battle with cancer, Kim was motivated to make a difference in other peoples’ lives. Recognizing the need that people who own and love pets will fall ill but can have peace of mind knowing that their animal will be looked after well.

Kim is very excited to be a part of the Bello Project which helps people stay connected with their pet family through their illness journey. Pets are such a big part of our lives, and it is so important for them to be with us when we need them most.
