The Moonlit Memory Walk is an evening of legacy and remembrance.  Participants join together for a celebration of life ceremony that includes a candlelight stroll.  Money is raised through in-memoriam donations that participants seek as a way to honour and bring to life the memory of a loved one who as died.  Some walk for a friend or family member, others walk for a pet and even others walk in memory of a lost pregnancy.  The event is inclusive and recognizes that grief and loss are as unique as our fingerprint and that everyone deserves a chance and space to experience the healing power such an event may provide.

Moonlit Memory Walk

Remember that they lived, not how they died

Is it career building you are looking for? Or do you have a passion for event planning but no experience? It might even be that you think you would be amazing fundraising but have never given it a try.  Whatever your reason for wanting to volunteer in the planning and running of a charity event we want to hear from you!

The Moonlit Memory Walk is soon to become the major annual fundraising event (this is where you come in) for Home Hospice Association.  The theme of the event is “remember that they lived, not how they died” and under that theme we honor the memory of loved ones we have lost and raise money to ensure each of us has the best chance for a good death… when our time comes of course!

Not afraid of death?  Not afraid of a challenge? Fill out the form below to start the conversation, learn what roles we are filling on this team and begin your walk towards helping those you love at the most vulnerable time of life.
