Training and Change Management Specialist
It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.
Introduced to HHA by her colleague Andrea Wilson, Vera was happy to bring her passion for public service and to use her strategic planning, project management and process improvement expertise to help the Association operationalize.
Vera loves discovering new places, especially those off the beaten track. One of her bucket list goals is to live for at least a month in at least one country on every continent – well maybe only a week in Antarctica!
Vera has worked for almost a decade in the healthcare sector mainly in acute care and community care sectors. Being a part of the system, she is well aware of the gaps through which some patients fall; she is driven to working with organizations to identify strategies to address these gaps, and to ensure the successful implementation of these strategies.
Vera is a certified Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She a Master of Science in Behavioural Neuroscience and a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University.
