Open Death Café

In partnership with Nanaimo Association for Community Living (NACL), and facilitated by Home Hospice Association-trained Death Doula Maleah Bajich, this Open Death Café offers a welcoming space where people come together to openly discuss death and grief in a non-judgmental environment. The goal is to break societal taboos around conversations about mortality, encouraging deeper reflection on life and how we approach the end of it. These partnerships will create a meaningful space where people can come together to share thoughts, fears, and curiosity about mortality. This event is an in-person Death Café for the NACL community.
