When a pregnancy or infant loss occurs, the way we respond can shape how that experience is carried for a lifetime.
These losses are more common than many realize, yet the support available is often inconsistent, uncomfortable, or absent altogether. People may feel unseen or dismissed, grief can become more isolating, and support (if available) may unintentionally cause further harm.
Many professionals and caregivers want to help in these moments but feel unprepared and unsure how to respond to the grief that exists alongside birth, postpartum recovery, and continuing with life after loss.
Support pregnancy and infant loss with skills, confidence, and compassion
Home Hospice Association’s Infant & Pregnancy Loss Support Certificate training equips you with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to respond with compassion and care, so that individuals and families are not left navigating these experiences alone.
