Learning Night: Our 2SLGBTQIA+ History, Our Stories

Join us for a virtual evening exploring the history, stories, and experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities through the incredible archival collections of 2SLGBTQIA+ history. Together, we’ll look at items from that helped bring queer history to life, from the people, movements, celebrations, and acts of resistance that shaped our communities, to the everyday stories that might otherwise have been forgotten. We are celebrating a way of remembering who came before us, understanding the struggles and progress that shaped our communities, and recognizing the people who fought to create the spaces and freedoms we have today.

This evening is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect with our history while considering why preserving 2SLGBTQIA+ stories matters for generations to come. Come curious and join us as we look back to better understand the community we are part of today.
