We're pleased to offer this No Place Like Home Program in-person workshop as part of our Out & About Workshop series.
This presentation will introduce the resources our team has developed to help families, long-term care staff, and care partners ensure that 2SLGBTQI+ individuals feel seen, respected, and understood throughout later life and end-of-life experiences.
The workshop focuses on practical, compassionate tools and ideas that help reduce the risk of re-closeting during vulnerable transitions in care. This presentation was designed to support affirming and dignified experiences for individuals, while also providing community organizations with meaningful materials and knowledge they can share with families and care partners.
