About

“Guiding Your 2SLGBTQ+ Client Through the Advance Care Planning Process” is a newly customized professional education workshop for professionals who want to work with 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in helping create their “Advance Care Plan”. This workshop is a part of the No Place Like Home Program's initiative to customize resources to better fit the specific needs and issues that 2SLGBTQ+folks could have at the end of life.


This workshop will be 3 hours in length, with interactive discussion elements and a chance to roleplay and test your knowledge.

Emit’s academic and professional work is deeply rooted in supporting 2SLGBTQI+ and Disabled communities. As the Project Lead, their ability to synthesize research and offer thoughtful analysis has been invaluable to No Place Like Home, ensuring the project is built with care, intersectionality, and a strong community focus.
