June 10, 2019 (TORONTO, ONTARIO) Home Hospice Association (HHA) was pleased to announce today that plans are beginning for the launch of it’s GTA Chapter with it’s signature Join the Conversation.
“Just as it takes a village to raise a child, that village is equally responsible to support each other at the end of their life”; states Glen Burkholder Co-Founder of HHA (wwww.HomeHospiceAssocition.com). “Asking like-minded individuals to join in on a conversation that shares the control and process of establishing their chapter is the definition of collaboration” he continues.
On Tuesday June 18, 2019 at 7:00 pm we will start the discussion and start the journey. Eileen Laffey is Home Hospice GTA’s Founding Chair of the Board of Directors. Why take on such a role, she was asked. “I think that bearing witness to those we love as they walk toward the end of life, becomes a journey of support, learning (ours) and love.” Is how she sums it up best.
Why might people wish to attend the Join the Conversation Event?
Reason #1 – You believe that everyone deserves a good death and wish to learn what services Home Hospice GTA is going to provide to make that possible.
Reason #2 – You know a bit about Home Hospice Association; our vision, our mission and it aligns with what you believe we should do for each other at end of life.
Reason #3 – You believe that it takes a village at the end of life also. You wish to give the dying of the GTA the opportunity to live their life and experience their death in their own way.
