Pet Lovers Death Café
Talking about our experiences and feelings related to the illness and loss of a beloved pet can also be a great way to start the conversation about our own dying and death.
Time & Location
Feb 08, 2024, 6:15 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. EST
Ottawa, 2036 Ogilvie Rd, Gloucester, ON K1J 7N8, Canada
About
Approximately 13,209,754 people in Canada have dogs, and 14,342,018 have cats - that’s plenty of people who are going to experience pet loss one day. The Pet Lovers Death Café brings together the pet lover community so that the topic of pet death can be normalized and compassionately discussed through encouraging open discourse and examination.
Ottawa Public Library is partnering with the Home Hospice Association to offer this death café in person at their North Gloucester location. Please register for this event directly through Ottawa Public Library's website (click here).
